The 1982 West Midlands metro bus has been converted into an amazing space that sleeps 6 people comfortably.
Relax in unique surroundings
Downstairs there’s a fully-fitted kitchen and lounge/dining area with a cosy log burner, and there’s also a toilet and wet room.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms: two full size doubles and one bunk bed room. At the front of the bus there’s a chill out space with a collection of books and board games. Featuring two of the original bus seats, it’s the ideal place to sit with a glass of wine and take in the view of the surrounding countryside.
There’s no getting away from the fact that you’re on a bus, and a lot of the original bus fittings have been re-used throughout the quality conversion which makes it a fun and original place to spend your holiday.
Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside
Sitting within a private woodland in the heart of the Sussex countryside, outside you’ll find a second heated shower, a fire pit and lots of special spots amongst the trees to sit and relax. What’s more there’s a wood fired hot tub which can be hired for the duration of your stay.
Make your stay extra special by adding a campfire hamper to your booking. Wherever possible, all produce is local and organic and wine and cider is included. Plus vegetarian options are available.
Recharge your batteries and get back to nature
The whole concept behind the bus was to create a space where people can holiday in beautiful countryside, enjoy nature and the peace and quiet it offers. There’s no wireless internet or TV on the bus and amplified music is not allowed on site so a stay on The Big Green Bus really is an opportunity to relax and get away from it all.
“What an amazing experience. Loved everything about the bus and its surroundings. What a fab way to celebrate the old man’s 40th birthday. The kids have most certainly made memories that will last a lifetime!”
